Fulgrim’s desire for perfection in all things left his mind open to doubt – the seeds of which were nurtured by the malevolent spirit that inhabited the Blade of the Laer and his own hubris. Following his apotheosis to daemonhood in the ancient xenos citadel deep beneath the crone world of Lydris, Fulgrim is able to shift his appearance between a more humanoid guise and a monstrous form gifted by his new patron deity.
This finely detailed resin kit builds Fulgrim Transfigured, depicted in the full resplendent glory of his later daemonic form. In this guise, he has gained two additional arms, making this already incredible fighter and duellist even more martially effective. Completing his six upper limbs, the Primarch has a pair of powerful daemonic wings with which to soar contemptuously over the battlefield. You can assemble Fulgrim with a choice of weapons in one of his four arms – either an intimidating long spear or a vicious-looking daemon-blade. Of course, with Fulgrim, whichever weapon you choose will be perfect.
His lower half is a writhing and powerful serpentine body, whereas the Phoenician’s flawless face is relatively untouched, proudly showcasing his handsome facial features, for which he is so renowned. Fulgrim’s pristine panoply is an incredible work of art, featuring segmented overlapping panels, which form a stunning yet ergonomic suit of armour for his serpentine body. The cuirass itself is sculpted to showcase the exquisite muscular form of the III Legion Primarch. It is adorned proudly with the icon of the Emperor’s Children, whilst his shoulder pads feature delicate filigree. Amongst these impeccably crafted elements, Fulgrim’s armour incorporates grim visuals such as a leering daemonic visage, flayed faces, and a Slaaneshi icon.
Fulgrim’s snake-like tail is depicted wrapped around crushed masonry, while a pauldron featuring the icon of the Imperial Fists Legion can be seen buried within the rubble and debris left under the slithering Daemon Primarch’s powerful form.
Fulgrim Transfigured comprises 53 resin components, and is supplied with a Citadel 100mm Round base. This miniature is supplied unpainted and requires assembly – we recommend using Citadel Colour paints.
The rules for using Fulgrim Transfigured in your games of Warhammer: The Horus Heresy can be found in Warhammer: The Horus Heresy – Exemplary Battles of The Age of Darkness: Volume One, which is available separately.
